The "Cool" War?

The Soviet Sphere in the
Early and Late 2000's and the
Rehashing of Cold War Rhetoric

Picture
For our "Global Issue #1", we will examine the turmoil in the former Soviet East, particularly in the area of the Ukraine. We will discuss the history of the "Soviet East", the appeals (and terrors) of communism, the fall of the Soviet Empire, and more importantly, the recent rise of Cold War "actions" and rhetoric, which I refer to as the "Cool" War. In groups, click on the buttons below to access your part of the activity and be prepared to share with the rest of your group!
